The 70th Miss World was the first time the Miss World Final was held in a Spanish-speaking country and Puerto Rico was awarded the honor.
Karolina Biewleska from Poland was crowned the 70th Miss World on 16th March 2022 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall.
70th Miss World crowningAfter being crowned by the 69th Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh a tearful Karolina said: “When I heard my name I was shocked, I still can’t believe it. I am honoured to wear the Miss World crown and can’t wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life.”
40 semi-finalists were back in Puerto Rico after December’s Final on the island had to be postponed due to an outbreak of Coronavirus.
All 97 Miss World Contestants featured in the broadcast of the 70th Miss World Final, which will aired 8pm - 11pm ET on March 16th live from Puerto Rico.
The first runner-up title went to United States, Shree Saini, second runner-up was Cote d'Ivoire, Olivia Yace.

The beautiful Capitol of Puerto Rico in San Juan, the center of the Puerto Rican government, served as the perfect setting for the final installment of the Head to Head Challenge.
16 group challenge winners, as voted for by the public, went Head to Head in a bid secure a place in the semi-final of the 70th Miss World.
This year the final decision was based on two speeches. Each contestant was given two minutes to talk about their Beauty with a Purpose projects, they were judged on how well they could deliver and convey their purpose. Next each contestant was invited back to become an Ambassador for Puerto Rico and tell the world why everyone should visit this wonderful island.

The 70th Miss World Top Model event was held in the T-Mobile Distrito. Each contestant had the opportunity to showcase their best catwalk while wearing both national dress and designs made by Puerto Rican designers.
The judges included Crystal Rose Pierce, Stella Norasco, Gina Levis, Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and Joseph Da’Ponte.
After an incredible show, the contestants in the top Thirteen were chosen as follows:
