Had a wonderful visit with the team at Selyn Foundation to discuss a partnership with Saheli Foundation as we work together to combat period poverty. Their BleedGood initiative tackles menstrual poverty through workshops and the production of reusable pads which is a great sustainable solution. Selyn also creates beautiful handcrafted jewelry, accessories, bags, and clothing made by Sri Lankan women. I can’t think of a better gift for the ladies I’ll meet at Miss World, each piece is a symbol of empowerment, crafted by rural Sri Lankan women working towards ending period poverty in vulnerable communities worldwide.
