We are officially opening the 72nd @missworld Festival, and being part of it this year feels surreal, especially after growing up watching it unfold year after year. For the traditional wear segment, I chose a simple osariya with a modern twist, the timeless saree style worn by countless Sri Lankan women every day. I felt it was time we celebrated the simple elegance and deep cultural pride it carries, something that often goes unnoticed. This outfit not only represents my country, but l've also dedicated a part of it to Miss World. Swipe to discover the meaningful story behind this look.
