Not so long ago, I was a simple girl who loved make up and couldn’t get through the day without simple laughs. That hasn't changed apart from the fact that I am still kind of surprised at how everything in my life beautifully unfolded too fast, the moment I was revealed as Miss World Somalia and the first hijabi debutant at Miss World.
It is easy to wonder whether it gets to be too much—balancing my role as Miss World Somalia, a psychology student, make-up artist and founder of newly launched charity organization, K Amani , but no! I’m unwrapping myself very slowly and loving the new roles I am fitting into!
