As the current Miss Slovenia, I have personally experienced the painful impact of online harassment. 💔 That experience shaped my mission: to raise awareness about online violence, educate others on how to stay safe, and foster kindness and empathy in the digital world. 🌐💙 This week, I had the honour of visiting the Care and Work Centre Zasavje (VDC Zasavje) – a Slovenian public institution that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 🧠🤝 Through daily care, creative activities, and vocational support, they empower individuals to live meaningful, connected lives. 💪 Together with their incredible users, I led a hands-on workshop on online violence. 💻📱 With open discussions 🗣️, real-life examples, painting 🎨, and even pantomime 🎭, we explored how to recognize online abuse, how to respond to it, and most importantly – how to protect ourselves and others.
