Women can be true warriors – strong, determined, and persistent. We successfully achieve a wide range of goals in life. At the same time, we are gentle and empathetic, we know how to support each other and lend a helping hand. 🌸 I spent this International Women’s Day in the company of extraordinary women. More than 500 of us walked a 5 km route through the underground tunnels of the Trbovlje-Hrastnik mine.⚒️🏃♀️ The event “Girls in the Mine” was organised by Sazus institute in collaboration with the Velenje Mine, Zasavje miners, and KRC Hrastnik, and supported by the President of the country, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar. The day ended with Slovenian music. The Gačnik Trio highlighted the importance of intergenerational cooperation and family relationships based on love with their beautiful song “Prelepa pesem mira.”🎶 Dear women, I wish you a wonderful end to our special day.
