Finalist Miss World Netherlands 2024/2025 SDG nr.5 gender equality; gender equality, especially in the tech industry, remains an issue as women in this sector still do not receive equal pay, treatment, and opportunities. I want to motivate young girls to choose a career in technology, break the stereotype, and show that technology is not just for men, but for everyone. But why gender equality? As a 17-year-old young woman, I experienced harassment during my internship. As the only woman in the workplace, I was subjected to inappropriate comments from the men around me. They told me I would look better in a skirt instead of work pants and that I should wear my hair down every day. These comments deeply affected me and stripped away my motivation for a field I was so eager to learn. It was painful. This must change. Joined at Dec 4, 2024
