18 years old and living in Rijen. As an enthusiastic young woman, I am actively involved in scouting in my village every weekend. I also gain a lot of fulfillment from helping others, which is why I am strongly committed to youth work and volunteer work. For my efforts in 2023, I was even awarded a Youth Ribbon. Currently, I am studying Entrepreneurial Furniture Maker/Ship Interior Builder at the HMC in Rotterdam. As a woman in the technical field, I have faced inequality and gender-based discrimination in the workshop since the start of my education. This is why I am focusing my Beauty with a Purpose project on SDG number 5: Gender Equality. I believe that technical professions are not just for men—they are for everyone.
