Today we embark on a journey filled with hope at the Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Sector Tahual, located in Aldea Barrios 1, San Antonio Suchitepéquez. This community, marked by extreme poverty, has shown that with unity and effort, great things can be achieved.
This school, which began as a small warehouse adapted by the local residents themselves, faces enormous challenges: the lack of a perimeter wall, deteriorated classrooms, and a kitchen that pollutes the school environment. But today, we are not alone.
Jeimy Escobedo, Miss World Guatemala, returns to her roots to lead a project that aims to transform this school into a safe and dignified space for the children. In collaboration with parents, teachers, and local allies, we embark on this great mission that will bring education and hope to every corner of Suchitepéquez.
