Every year since, the round has attracted publicity across the world and in 2025 continues to do so! "As we were receiving so many filtered images , some from contestants who were unrecognisable when they attended the heats , I brought in this round to promote a more realistic image of the competition. There is so much pressure for women to look a certain was and I wanted to promote natural beauty which I think is important to our younger generation" said Angie . Contestants are encouraged to do a post of themselves on their own social media and take part in a make up free catwalk at the competition which the girls enjoyed. Angie launched a debate about whether to keep this round in Miss England going forward on social media in January 2025, which has continued to attract publicity . A blog on the Miss England website was created and media picked up on this .
