How we can eradicate world hunger with agriculture.

Belize Head to Head submissionmoreVideos

Without agriculture, there is no feed. Without food, there is no food security, and Without food security there is no future. As a 3rd generation farmer and certified beekeeper, I have come to realize just how important agriculture as it relates to increasing food security not only for our current growing population, bus for generations to come. World hunger is one of the leading problems in our world today. Breadwinner are finding it increasingly difficult to put food on the table and provide for their families. I strongly believe that investing in sustainable agriculture is a conduit for individuals to be self-sufficient. One of the ways in which this can be implemented is by promoting individual/ community based urban gardening leading to farm to table sustainability and food security. I also believe that the government can play a pivotal role in agriculture development l, which is one of the main reasons why I ran for village council. I believe that the powers of the people coupled with the governing body can be especially beneficial for food security.
