Miss World Belize visits Ladyville Technical High School!
Under my Beauty With a Purpose project "Cultivating the Future", I have been privileged with the opportunity to visit and work alongside several schools and organizations. One of which includes Ladyville Technical High school. A school located in a small town within Belize Rural Central, where students have the opportunity to study Agriculture. As a Farmer, I was invited to visit the schools homestead and give insight. Visits like these are essential, because in an industry such as agriculture, it is very important to not only remind the students about the World’s need for them, but also to remind the nation that we need these students just as much!
Hands on Learning!
On that day, we were not only able to discuss the benefits of agriculture, but I was also able to work side by side with the students, planting Cucumbers, and other plants. What I love the most about visits like these, is that not only am I able to share the knowledge that I have with the students, but I am also able to learn a few pointers from them that I can share with other schools. Agriculture empowers a nation! It makes me proud to know that our youth share my interest and passion in such an important industry.
