In my H2H G20 submission I discuss food insecurity. I have focused specifically on my home country of Wales as well as Ghana, which I visited for a month last year whilst on a philanthropist trip.

In my submission I have explained how food insecurity is on the rise in the United Kingdom which is having a disproportionate impact on low income areas where the majority are people of colour. My BWAP project Darcey For Diversity raises awareness of how social issues such as food poverty are disproportionately impacting ethnic minority communities.

I also discuss the issue of food insecurity in Northern Ghana which is having an impact on the development of children, this is something I witnessed first hand whilst on my volunteering trip visiting rural communities in Northern Ghana.
