Before arriving in India, I hosted the talkshow “Chạm Xuân” at my country - Vietnam. The talkshow has been aired on HTV7 - Ho Chi Minh city television.
“Chạm Xuân” is a program that gathers special guests - the Misses of Vietnam. We share about Tet memories when we were children, habits at the beginning of the year, taboos and more.
There is quite a similarity between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Mumbai, India - the host of the 71st Miss World finals - both are "The City of Dream". There are also many people from all over Vietnam who come to study, live and work - with the hope of reaching their dreams. Therefore, when every Tet holiday comes, being reunited is the wish of many people living far away from home.
However, maybe because of the busyness of work, people sometimes forget to spend time with family. Through each broadcast episode, each story, we also encourage the audiences to take time to reunite and take care of their grandparents and parents after working away from home.
Not only that, we also show a few games for Tet, couplets, and stories about folk culture that need to be preserved in this talk show.
The special guests and I also had a chance to try dishes that were very delicious. All are typical dishes of traditional Vietnamese Tet
Through my role as a TV show host, I have had a lot of experiences, especially leading the emotions of guests and audiences. Many stories are explored, many messages are spread, that is the success I always try to achieve in every hosting session.
Each program, each role gives me many opportunities to express myself. Through that, I also get closer to the audience through my voice and statements. Therefore, I really hope that in the upcoming Miss World journey and after that, people will still watch my appearances at many different shows.
