A Carnival of Hope

Carnival is officially here and Alejandra Conde takes us back to Río Blanco where she joined the children of the community with a day of fun and games.
Happy Carnival everybody!
In Venezuela this feast is a holiday which means that there is no work or school. This is especially fun for the kids who like to dress up like their favorite characters and have a wonderful time playing games. This reminds a lot of the time I celebrated National Children’s Day in Rïo Blanco where we held a great party for the children of the community. It was an amazing day with great food, lots of balloons and amazing performances. The children were so happy and I definitely had the time of my life!
