Knowing that with Brilliant Lives we face violence, school dropout, depression and many other disorders is a victory. I will continue believing and making it possible that the greater the emotional intelligence, the lower the probability of generating emotional disorders in adolescence.
During my representation as Miss Venezuela World, I have proposed to touch souls with actions that allow to generate a transformation in those who need it most. I wanted to live one of the most important chapters of my life and surely, the one that would generate more changes in those who needed it most.
More than a year ago "Brilliant Lives" was born, my social impact project with the purpose of including emotional education in the educational system of my country. The experience was quite a challenge, since talking about emotional education in educational plans is a complete novelty nowadays.
I think that the greater the emotional intelligence, the less likely it is to generate emotional disorders in adolescence such as anxiety, depression, violent behavior, substance abuse, suicide and school dropout. All these practices are consequences of emotional damage. This is a visible reality that sadly is not worked with consistency, awareness and responsibility.
In my time as an adolescent, I was a participant in how our emotions can be harmful or positive for our health, our development and our future.
Inserting emotional health in the youngest children is an achievement that will continue to bear fruit. Brilliant Lives was and will continue to be my driving force. We have reached children, parents and teachers alike and in this space, I will share with you each experience that has made each life a purposeful transformation.
