As Miss Venezuela World I discovered that I wanted to transform the emotional health of children. In planning that project I discovered four phases to make it possible. I share two of them: the discovery and the identification of dreams.
During my social impact work as Miss Venezuela World, I committed myself to planting small seeds of change that could be of value to others. So we asked ourselves: ¿How can I make my life a bright life? We dared to answer ourselves through a practical conference, which helps young people in their quest to build that brilliant life. I set out to teach them to identify their dreams, to believe in them by valuing the process and resisting adversity.
We worked in four phases to accomplish this important mission. I want to share with you, in this first writing, two of them.
First, we carry out a process of discovery in which we must start from this phrase: "We do not see the world as it is, but as we are". Self-discovery is fundamental. Reflecting on who you are, how you are, what you feel and how you think will determine the stimuli that motivate you to react to different situations in life. Many times we do not discern the transfer of negative emotions as positive in our day to day life. Therefore, reaching our own self-concept will help you determine a stable emotional path.
We accompany the self-concept with the identification of dreams. This is a space to constantly evaluate oneself with respect to the achievement of dreams. In this constant walk we identify emotions such as frustration, willpower and persistence. These are emotions that when you internalize them you turn them into actions to take short steps, long steps, jumps and cycles where everyone goes at their own pace. The important thing here is not to compare yourself and be realistic about the sacrifice involved in achieving those dreams.
In the next article I will talk about the last two phases: courage and satisfaction. For now I ask you... Have you given yourself the opportunity to discover your feelings and identify the emotions that affect the dreams you want to achieve?
Ariagny Daboin, Miss Venezuela World.
