After hours, days, months of planning and projection, Vidas Brillantes is finally born with the family, educational and emotional strength we dreamed of. These are the three programs to make children's lives much brighter: a diploma course for teachers, an emotional management program and a business seedbed.
Once I was elected as Miss Venezuela World, I had a very clear responsibility on my shoulders: to be a bridge that connects our children and adolescents with the positive valuation of their mental health, their family environment and education.
With the help of the Miss Venezuela team, we were able to connect and unify a team of professionals, who shared the same vision of the project. This is how after hours of study, planning, ideas and proposals, we gave life to the project through the coverage of three programs that meet the needs of children and young people, teachers and parents.
We believe that teachers leave an important mark and are fundamental in the learning stages of children, that is why we decided to create a diploma program for them, from preschool to high school. Knowing that they embrace the responsibility of educating and multiplying information is key. We understood that it is necessary to work intensively at this stage, mainly because the transition to high school is where there is the highest dropout rate.
The second program addresses emotional management. A program based on four sessions where we teach emotional awareness, emotional autonomy, emotional regulation, socioemotional skills for life and personal wellbeing. It is aimed at control, recognition, acceptance and autonomy of what is gestated in those small thoughts.
Finally, we created a third program aimed at students in the last basic grade and high school students. Together with teachers, we focus on a business seedbed that allows them to put their own ideas into action, helping them to structure their own business models through training workshops in trades and arts. All these areas encourage them to manage their emotions to become entrepreneurs and thus prevent them from dropping out.
This is how a great dream can be carried out with all the heart. I have always believed that "one person is too small to create great things"... And we have finally been achieving it!
Ariagny Daboin, Miss Venezuela World.
