From the day I arrived in Puerto Rico I was amazed by the rich culture and old architecture. I wanted to share my experience with all of you.

Fort San Cristóbal While El Morro protected San Juan from attacks by sea, Fort San Cristóbal was built to protect the city from land attacks.
Catedral de San JuanThe Catedral de San Juan is the second oldest church in America, after the one built in the Dominican Republic. It was there that the world’s first archdiocese was founded.And the last one has become one of the places I will always remember.
he Capitol Building was built in 1929. Its Classic Revival design with a white marble façade and dome was created by architect Rafael Carmoega. The building is often called the Palacio de las Leyes (Palace of Laws) because it serves as the chambers for the Senate and House of Representatives. El Capitolio de Puerto Rico anchors the center of the Capital District in Puerta de Tierra. The Architecture and Construction Archives at the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR) is the custodian of the Capitol of Puerto Rico Collection (1924-1926).
