WARM WELCOME AT RIO GRANDE:MEETING THE MAYOR
Puerto Rico welcomed the Miss World family with open arms at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve, where the Mayor of Rio Grande, Honorable Ángel "Bori" Gonzalez Damudt, surprised us by gifting CEO of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley a key to the city.
We were also each given a warm welcome, with a passport showcasing the places of interest we would be visiting during our Puerto Rican visit.
And later during our stay, the Mayor very generously hosted a dinner in our honour where I got to meet him in person. Although we chatted for only a a few seconds, I felt fortunate to meet this very humble man, whose eyes glow with compassion, and who smiled at me with sincerity and kindness.
It was a special moment.❤️ ❤️
