Paradise Found At Isla Mata La Gata

Some memories never fade. Reminiscing about the good times in Puerto Rico, our outing to Isla Mata La Gata in the fishing village of La Parguera comes to mind.

This tiny mangrove cay, is surrounded by crystal clear and tranquil blue waters in shades of turquoise, aqua and cobalt, and is protected by a coral reef ecosystem in the Caribbean Sea. In the distance, are brilliant views of the lush, green rolling hills of the main island.

We were received so warmly by our Puerto Rican hosts on the island, and sat down to a sumptuous, island-style lunch buffet, as we enjoyed the caress of cool breezes, the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea and sweet Latin rhythms.
