Look Out World, Here Comes Trinidad & Tobago

On November 20th, I left the shores of our beautiful island, full of anticipation and excitement.

Honored to represent my country,
Confident to take our unique Trini spirit of warmth, celebration and unity to the world, and eager, to share my story of the extraordinary children
who have touched my heart as I travelled throughout our nation, with my charity work.

I was overwhelmed by the turnout at the airport,
the messages of support I received,
the unconditional love and encouragement of my family and friends,
and even by the kind congratulations and compliments I
received from fellow passengers and airport personnel.

✨ Everyone made my send-off so very special! ✨

I wished that I could have taken them all with me,
but I held these beautiful memories close to my heart,
knowing that this voyage had to be travelled alone.

And I embraced the adventure,
the scariness and the life changing experience that was
