Sports Day allows children to have an alternative outlet in school to tap into mental health, physical health, team bonding and character development. Holistic development for children is key to creating a society filled with leaders and go-getters. I was invited to Sarah’s Preparatory School as a guest judge for their march-past. We had a blast watching and cheering on the children as they performed their marching routines in their beautiful costumes. The Scarlet Ibis house won which happens to be the same school team I was in when I went to my primary school. Their routine really wowed us. We got to enjoy a day filled with sports, prize-giving and many more activities that made the children smile from ear to ear.
