As exam season approaches and the students prepare for their national secondary school entry exams, anxiety and stress naturally tend increase. It was a pleasure to get to speak to the students and remind them to keep calm, study hard and simply, do their best. It’s easy to put pressure on ourselves when we have life-changing events taking place, so I was happy to give them some encouragement and words of advice. The children were so well-mannered and extremely eloquent. I have no doubt that they will do well in their exams and get accepted into their dream high schools. I’m always grateful for any opportunity to connect with the students and remind them to check in with themselves and their peers. Let’s all continue to create the safe spaces to speak openly and honestly about our mental health and how we are coping with life. We all play a role in guiding our future leaders into a bright and successful future.
