I never thought in a million years I’d be on a stage as big as Miss World, proudly speaking up about my invisible scars, my darkest moments. Stigma is SO REAL. The fear of judgement and the fear of ridicule can stop someone from getting the support that they need. This is why I’m so honored to share my initiative, The Invisible Scars project, with the world because if I can help save one life, it would be worth it all. I work with so many young people in my country and I can’t even begin to express what it feels like to be told, “you gave me a will to live, Miss.” THIS is why I do it. This is what I will always continue to do no matter where I go in life because it will always be my story. Let’s turn pain into power together 🤗💚 #MentalHealthMatters
