I had the pleasure of visiting the children at the Huellitas de Amor school for Venezuelan children here in Trinidad & Tobago. This educational centre also known as “footprints of love” in English, is doing phenomenal work to support children in need of academic resources who moved to Trinidad and Tobago from our neighbor Venezuela. It plays a key role in comprehensive development for these children to excel and have opportunities for bright futures. My past Miss World Trinidad and Tobago sister delegate, Savannah Sandy (Miss San Juan), works closely with this educational centre as part of her continued Beauty with A Purpose project. It is our belief that migrant children deserve to be happy, healthy, supported and guided in the right direction. I’d like to use this opportunity to thank Savannah Sandy for her hard work and dedication reflecting true beauty with a purpose.
