As a native of Tanzania Land, rich in natural wonders and largest number of Lions, I Halima Kopwe see the need to report on this pressing issue on the Tadoba Tigers, from Maharashtra in India. The TATR, Maharashtra’s most popular tiger reserve, today has 93 Tigers and the Chandrapur district has more than 200 tigers! The majestic tigers are in danger, and it’s up to us to save them.

Tadoba” is taken from the name of the god “Tadoba” or “Taru”, worshipped by the tribes who live in the dense forests of the Tadoba and Andhari region, while “Andhari” refers to the Andhari river that meanders through the forest. 

Tadoba Tigers are not just a symbol of strength and beauty. They are an integral part of our ecosystem, playing a crucial role in maintaining the balance of nature.

But their habitats are shrinking rapidly due to deforestation and human activities. If we don’t act now, these magnificent creatures may disappear forever. 

By supporting the ‘Save the Tiger’ campaign, we can raise awareness about the importance of tiger conservation and mobilize communities to take action such as combat human hunting and denouncing the international black market for tiger parts and products. 

Tanzania, has united for a cause that goes beyond borders. Ready to save our tigers, preserve our natural heritage, and ensure a thriving ecosystem for all. Together, we can make a difference! As we all say…… SAVE THE TIGER
