Strength and resilience

Brief story I met Maria, a brave 5-year-old girl at the Kitezi emergency camp. Despite the devastation of the landfill collapse, Maria's spirit shone brightly as her eyes sparkled with hope while she shared with me her dream of becoming Miss Uganda one day. Maria's strength and courage are a true testament that even in the face of adversity, the joy and innocence of childhood remain untouched.
