I formed wonderful strong bonds with my Miss World sisters and will carry into my life some of the most precious memories from our time together. Being part of the Miss World family is a very special sisterhood. We shared our dreams with each other, exchanged ideas that would promote the advocacy programmes we're executing in our various countries. 

We laughed and cried and danced. We taught each other a little about our cultures and giggled as we tried out words in each other's language. We overcame stereotyping. We gave and took advice. There was little criticism, there was much admiration. We were respectful of each other and empathetic as we walked bravely despite our fears. We were sisters.

It was a glorious, golden time. A time of sisterhood, a time of building friendships that will last a lifetime.
