Miss World Slovenia 2021 crowned

Maja Čolić from Ribnica was crowned Miss World Slovenia 2021 at the glittering final held in Hrastnik on 27^th June. Lina Jenšac was first runner-up and Neža Simčič, second runner-up respectively.

Slovenian singer Nuša Derenda, who represented the country at the Eurovision song contest in 2001 and placed in 7^th place, performed at the event.

21-year-old Maja is an economics graduate and is majoring in International Business. She enjoys singing and dancing and has participated in dance competitions at European and world level.

Maja is an Ambassador for “S teboj lahko” (I can be with you) which works towards a more inclusive society. Maja has an initiative of integrating vulnerable groups into society and spreading the message that everyone should have the same opportunities in life.

Maja will represent Slovenia at the month-long festival and highly anticipated 70^th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor.
