Inclusion is not about doing something extra — it’s about doing what’s right. As a semi-finalist for Miss Slovenia 2023, I had the chance to attend training on working with people with special needs. That day opened my heart and changed my path. I realized how often these individuals are pushed aside — not because they don’t belong, but because we don’t take the time to understand them. Since then, I’ve been leading creative workshops in day centers — from baking muffins and painting to simply spending time together. These people have shown me what pure joy, honesty, and unconditional acceptance truly mean. They don’t ask for much — just a chance to be included, to express themselves, to feel equal. They have the same needs as anyone else — they just need a little more help to meet them. Let’s open our eyes and hearts. Let’s build a society where everyone feels at home.
