Leona Novoberdaliu reigns as Miss World Slovakia
Leona Novoberdaliu took over the Miss World Slovakia reign from her predecessor, Frederika Kurtulíková on Friday 14th August. Twelve contestants were selected for the national final held at Incheba Expo, Bratislava and broadcast live by TV JOJ.
To minimise the risk of Covid- 19, the contest was broadcast live without spectators. There was an impressive talent show by the contestants. Furthermore, the show included diverse singing and rap performances by renowned Slovakian artists.
Miss World Slovakia is 23 years old and from Bratislava. She is a graduate in Political Economy who works for an investment company. Leona has done charity work for the Red Cross and Children’s Hope Club. In addition, she has practised gymnastics for 10 years and plays tennis and swims in her spare time.
Leona will now have an invaluable experience as Miss World Slovakia 2020.
