Presenting to the world my precious country Singapore, a garden city, a little island filled with so much diversity and life! This costume is inspired by The Merlion. A national symbolic creature having the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The statue’s head represents the city’s original name of Singapura (lion city in Sanskrit), and the fish-like body symbolises Singapore’s origins as a fishing village, known as Temasek

This dress was curated from sketch to design and making, every single detail is 100% handmade, taking months and hours on it. I am so so grateful for it ❤️
