Claudia Todd to represent Scotland at the 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico

Claudia Todd was crowned Miss Scotland 2021 at the glistening ceremony held on 27th August at Corinthian Hotel, Glasgow. Claudia was crowned by Miss Scotland 2019, Keryn Matthew.

Elaine Burns was crowned first runner up and Jennifer McFadden was second runner up respectively.

Until recently 25-year-old Claudia worked as a Disneyland Princess at Disneyland Paris. After battling and surviving sepsis at the age of 22, Claudia is now an Ambassador for the UK Sepsis Trust and uses her platform to raise awareness of the life-threatening condition. To date Claudia has raised over £10,000 for the charity.

On being crowned Miss Scotland 2021 Claudia said: “To me it means so many things. You can empower young people, especially on social media.”

“Nowadays social media has such a detrimental effect on young people’s lives and I believe as Miss Scotland you could make a positive platform.”

Claudia will represent Scotland at the month-long festival and highly anticipated 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor.
