I present to you my national costume for “Dances of the World” made by Cheguie Lacen inspired by “Carnaval del Barrio” from the musical In the Heights that represents our mix of Taíno, African and Spanish races through music, our parties, the desire to always go forward and the pride of being not only Puerto Ricans but of being LATINOS.
