I’d like to share one of my favorite experiences and anecdotes from my journey as a candidate: paying tribute to the iconic statue of Thalli, known as Telangana Thalli. This symbolic figure represents Mother Telangana and embodies the spirit, identity, and pride of the Telugu people. It is a deeply rooted icon in the culture of the state of Telangana, India, and a powerful reminder of the struggle and determination that led to the state’s creation. Standing before this statue was an incredibly moving moment for me, as it allowed me to connect with a culture rich in history and values. Through this gesture, I sought to honor not only a region but also all women who, like Telangana Thalli, symbolize strength, fertility, and wisdom. This experience reinforced in me the power of symbolism and the importance of respecting and celebrating the roots of every people.
