Hello World ! My name is Catarina Ferreira and I am Miss World Portugal. I feel extremely grateful and honored to be representing my country at the 71st Miss World edition and for me, it's fundamental that you get to know me better ! For this reason, here are 10 facts about me ! 

Fact n°1: I was born in Arouca, in Portugal but when I was seven years old, my family and I moved to the French West Coast, to Saint-Nazaire.

Fact n°2: I lived in Sweden for a year. 

Fact n°3: I've already practiced silent theatre, in order to be inclusive and reach a wider audience. 

Fact n°4: I am passionate about music, and I've always dreamed about playing the violin but I ended up by learning to play the guitar and the piano. 

Fact n°5: When I was younger, I wanted to be a professional singer or an actress, or both, like Hannah Montana.

Fact n°6: My favorite color is orange.

Fact n°7: I love making people laugh and being theatrical, dramatizing situations in a positive and fun way. 

Fact n°8: When I was a student, I had several part-time jobs for instance in restaurants, open-air markets, cleaning holiday accommodations, hotel room-service and in supermarkets. 

Fact n°9: During the pandemic, I expressed my creative side by creating a micro-fashion brand with my mother, making only 100% eco-friendly tailored handmade crochet items such as tops, coats and handbags.

Fact n°10: I suffered from a severe acne journey until I was 23 years old.
