As I grew up in a small town surrounded by mountains, with lots of nature and animals, the protection of Mother Earth was always and still is, a priority. My main contribution relies on the daily actions, those must be included in each individual’s routine as they are simple and accessible for everyone. For instance, reducing the use of plastic and paper, saving water, recycling and opting for sustainable products, among many others.

Despite my daily routine, during the pandemic, I wanted to express my creativity and at the same time, share my deep concern regarding the protection of our Planet Earth. Thus, I ended up by creating, developing and managing a micro-fashion brand with my mother, making only 100% eco-friendly tailored handmade crochet items such as tops, coats and handbags. The goal was to be as inclusive as possible, that’s why it was only personalized and tailored handmade items, to fit all shapes and personalities, using only crochet yarns certified environmentally-safe.

Since my crowning, I’ve been involved in different activities in my community because from day one, I’ve decided that I will focus on the local needs. Thus, after my full-time job, I tried as much as possible to take action for diverse causes and the environment protection is one of them !

Participation in the reforestation action of one of our most iconic mountain « Senhora da Mó », with 1200 native trees planted. Participation in the protection of our biodiversity by controlling an invasive plant in a specific place that will soon be a view point.
