Karolina joins celebrity team
Reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska returned to her home city of Łódź in Poland to play her part as a celebrity team member in a Charity basketball match.
Karolina joined the team of former NBA player and now coach of the Washington Wizards, Marcin Gortat.
As the clock ran down Karolina scored a vital basket in a famous win over the Polish Army team.
The event raised much needed funds for Marcin Gortat’s MG13 foundation which assists Polish youth in fulfilling their sporting dreams.
“I have never played basketball before today” said Karolina - “I was so surprised to score !! - it’s been a great day and hopefully as a result of this match many kids will now have a chance to follow their sporting dreams.”
