Karolina Visits SOS Village and Nguyen Tat Thanh Monument
Reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska joined the Head of Miss World Vietnam Organizing Committee - Pham Kim Dung and also the Miss World Vietnam Top 3 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Nguyen Phuong Nhi on a very special visit to the SOS Children’s centre.
The SOS Quy Nhon Children's Village was built in 2011. Currently, the village has 14 families who are taking care and nurturing nearly 120 orphaned children.
Karolina and the Miss World Vietnam team were greeted by 120 smiling faces as they arrived bringing gifts for every child. For the next 2 hours it was singing and dancing with the children.
Karolina said “This is a place of love - the kids are a joy to be with!
Miss World Vietnam supports many good causes through the Beauty With A Purpose program - they do such fantastic work in support of their communities.”
Earlier in the day, Karolina, Head of Miss World Vietnam Organizing Committee - Pham Kim Dung and the Top 3 in Miss World Vietnam, Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Nguyen Phuong Nhi took part in a very important ceremony at The Nguyen Tat Thanh Monument in Quy Nhon city as they offered incense in front of the National monument to President Ho Chi Minh.
The statue depicts President Ho Chi Minh (known as Nguyen Tat Thanh in his younger days), with his father Nguyen Sinh Sac.
