
Miss World, Karolina Bielawska presents the live Final





Krystyna Sokołowska from Białystok was crowned Miss Polonia 2022 at the gala finale held in Włocławek on 27th May and broadcast live on TVP2. Miss World, Karolina Bielawska co-hosted the event with TVP presenters Izabella Krzan, Aleksander Sikora and Mateusz Szymkowiak.
First runner-up was Karolina Malina and second runner up was Julia Baryga respectively.
Special performances at the gala came from Krystian Ochman, Poland’s entry to Eurovision 2022, singer/songwriter Ewelina Lisowska, singer Filip Lato and DJ and music producer Gromee.
The final show was graced by special guest Miss World Ukraine 2021, Oleksandra Yaremchuk, who sent a message from her country to show gratitude for the incredible support Poland has offered to Ukrainian refugees. When the war in Ukraine started, Oleksandra had to stop her studies in Business Management and leave her country to stay with friends in Montenegro. The rest of her family are still in Ukraine.
During the event a special SMS line was launched to raise money for the charity Caritas Polska, which has been supporting Ukraine from the very beginning of the war. This is a charity, which Beauty with a Purpose has been working with closely in support of Ukraine. Earlier this year, Julia Morley and Karolina visited one of the centres it runs in Poznan.
25-year-old Krystyna is a student and owner of a sports club. She works as a gymnastics and stretching trainer with children and adults. Kyrstyna is fluent in Polish, English and Russian.
On her crowning, Krystyna said: “The moment when dreams come true and life changes. There is a beautiful year ahead of me, full of challenges. Thank you for your trust and the chance. The title carries a lot of responsibility, but I promise you that I will give 101% of myself and I hope you will be proud of me.”
