One of the highlights of my project was providing support to Ukrainian refugees. When the Ukrainian refugees arrived to Poland, they were facing an uncertain future. I knew I had to help.
In the aftermath of the conflict in Ukraine, I opened doors of my home to a mother and her daughter who were seeking refuge, offering them a safe place and assistance during their time of need. Presently, I remain committed to positively impacting young lives by organizing recurring programs for children, providing them with a semblance of routine and optimism amidst trying circumstances. Each month, I volunteer in RIO EDU CENTRUM to provide a ray of hope to those in need.
I wanted to create a safe space for them to heal, to express themselves, and to feel like kids again. It wasn't just about activities, it was about building connections and providing emotional support. The mothers needed companionship and a shoulder to lean on. We were there for them. Month after month, the Beauty with a Purpose project brought joy and relief to those who had endured so much. Alongside the monthly activities for Ukrainian refugees, my dedication led to remarkable achievements.
