The days are passing by swiftly and emotions are running high. Each of the different stages in this magnificent Miss World platform provides opportunities not only to commit to a social cause but also, fundamentally, to embrace the immense responsibility to effect change once and for all, in the reality of life for the most vulnerable, fragile and in-need populations.
Today, we had the privilege to share a moment with the esteemed judges of Miss World. It was an opportunity to further showcase my roots and the Amazonian spirit to the world. I am delighted to share a little bit more about what unites and motivates us to fight alongside my children from Semillitas de Belén (Little Seeds of Belén) every day. We talked about who I am, where I come from and what my journey’s been like since I was 14 years old. We also delved into the harsh reality of what life is like on the banks of the Amazon River, and what my conviction and struggles to change the tough reality of my beloved people surviving on the riverbanks entails.
From Miss World Perú, we extended an invitation to the Miss World Organization to visit our Peruvian Amazon and have the opportunity to meet the community of San Francisco and my children from Semillitas de Belén. I am a firm believer in God’s perfect timing; we have been navigating this unbelievable journey with faith and hope in our hearts.

¡Día de entrevista con el jurado!
Siguen transcurriendo los días y las emociones están a flor de piel. Cada una de las diferentes instancias, en esta magnífica plataforma Miss Mundo, son oportunidades para comprometernos con una causa social pero también, fundamentalmente, con la inconmensurable responsabilidad de asumir que depende de cada uno de nosotros que cambien, de una vez y para siempre, las realidades de vida de las poblaciones más vulnerables, frágiles y necesitadas.
En el día de hoy, tuvimos el privilegio de compartir un momento de encuentro con el especial jurado de Miss World. Oportunidad de continuar extendiendo mis raíces y la esencia amazónica al mundo. Estoy absolutamente feliz de poder compartir un poco más sobre lo que nos une y motiva a luchar todos los días junto a mis hijos de Semillitas de Belén. Conversamos sobre quién soy, de dónde vengo, cómo ha sido mi camino desde los 14 años a esta parte, de qué se trata la dura realidad de vida en las riberas del rio Amazonas y qué implica mi convicción y lucha diaria por cambiar la dura realidad de mi gente amada que sobrevive en las riberas de un río, todos los días.
Desde Miss World Perú, extendimos a la Organización Miss Mundial la invitación a visitar nuestra Amazonia Peruana y tener la oportunidad de conocer la comunidad de San Francisco y mis niños de Semillitas de Belén. Soy una fiel creyente en que los tiempos de Dios son perfectos y hemos estado caminando todo este recorrido inexplicable con fe y esperanza en nuestros corazones.
