Tomboy to Pagent girl
In my Monday interview did I tell the judges a fun story about me, and I now want to share it with you.
When I was in pre and middle school was I a real tomboy. I hated wearing dresses, makeup, or anything that was “girly”.
I remember every Christmas, my mum would beg me to wear a dress. She would even spend hours looking for a relaxing and comfy dress, but I always went for black jeans and a white or black top.
Then fast forward to 9th/10th grade. I have always been very creative, but now I started to use fashion as my creative outlet. I started exploring with different colors, patterns, fabric and shapes.
It did not take me long to realize that I had a huge passion for fashion, and I decided to study Fashion Business after high school.
Now, 10 years after I refused to wear dresses and makeup, I am representing Norway in Miss World.
It is really crazy how much I have changed this year, but I guess that is what’s called growing up and evolving.
