Miss World Mongolia, in collaboration with the XCUT Customer Support Service, organized a special event titled “Wear Pink, Save Lives” to support breast cancer survivors and raise awareness about early detection and prevention, as the Pink October comes to an end.

Miss World Mongolia 2026 Enkhtuul Bayarsaikhan and other former titleholders attended the gathering, offering words of encouragement to women fighting breast cancer.

Every October, countries around the world dedicate the month to breast cancer awareness and education on early diagnosis. This year it was extra special, once this is the cause embraced by the reigning Miss World, Opal Suchata. 

According to 2024 data, one out of every 77 people in Mongolia, or one in every 42 women, is at risk of developing breast cancer, with the average age of patients being 54. The highest rates are seen in northern and central Mongolia, as well as in Ulaanbaatar, while the eastern, western, Gobi, and Khangai regions show lower incidence rates.

More than 100 participants, including patients, survivors, doctors, and caregivers, took part in the event. Breast cancer survivors shared their experiences and stories of hope as guest speakers.

The event also featured musical performances to inspire attendees, with singers B. Uranzolboo and L. Shikhikhuug, along with dancers from the National Song and Dance Ensemble, presenting uplifting songs and dances.
