Valeriia is pursuing a degree in International Economic Relations at the International Humanitarian University in Odesa.

The title of Miss Ukraine 2025 went to 18-year-old Valeriia Lisovska, from Odesa, in the conclusion of the annual event held on December 13th.

Valeriia is currently a second-year student at the International Humanitarian University in Odesa, where she is pursuing a degree in International Economic Relations. She speaks English and French, plays tennis, and has experience in acting and dance. In addition, the new Miss Ukraine has completed journalism courses and is actively building a career in modeling, frequently traveling abroad while balancing her academic and professional commitments.

In July 2025, Valeriia was named Vice Miss South Ukraine 2025 as part of the Miss Odesa competition, giving her the opportunity to compete at the national contest final.

Olga Dmitrievska was crowned Vice Miss Ukraine 2025, while Maria Kalinichenko was named Second Vice Miss Ukraine 2025. Special awards went to Margarita Naydenko, who earned the Miss Charity Ukraine 2025 title, and Sofia Levina, chosen as Miss People’s Choice Ukraine 2025.

The Miss Ukraine pageant is the country’s annual national beauty competition and has been held since 1991.

Valeriia was crowned by Maria Melnychenko, who last May made history by reaching the Top 8 (1st runner-up in Europe) when competing at the 72nd Miss World Festival, in Telangana. It was Ukraine’s highest placement in Miss World history so far.
