Sweden has selected its representative for the 75th anniversary celebration of Miss World, with Maria Berit Bianca Santos Lindström officially crowned Miss World Sweden 2026.
Born and raised in Sweden, Bianca is a final-year radiology student at Uppsala University, combining her academic pursuits and a strong commitment to helping others.
A former figure skater and dancer, Bianca brings years of discipline, determination, and dedication to her new role. She describes herself as caring, loyal, driven, and passionate, values that she believes are essential both in her personal life and in her ambitions for the future.
As she prepares to represent Sweden at Miss World, Bianca hopes to inspire others.
Her selection comes during a significant year, which is celebrating 75 years of history. Sweden occupies a special place in that legacy, having produced the first two Miss World winners: Kiki Håkansson, who won the inaugural title in 1951, and May-Louise Flodin, who successfully defended Sweden’s title in 1952. The nation later claimed a third Miss World title when Mary Stävin was crowned in 1977.
Now it’s time for Bianca Santos Lindström to represent Sweden at Miss World’s 75th anniversary celebrations in Vietnam, from August 9 to September 5.
