Reigning Miss England Grace Richardson has taken on a new leadership role within the Miss England organization, officially becoming the License Holder for the Miss Leicestershire, Miss Derbyshire and Miss Northamptonshire county competitions.

According to the Miss England website, Richardson’s appointment represents a meaningful full-circle moment, as she once competed at county level herself before winning the national title. Her new position places her at the forefront of organizing and mentoring the next generation of participants across the three counties.

Speaking about her new role, Richardson shared:

“To go from competing for Miss Leicestershire to organizing it as Miss England feels incredibly special. It’s a privilege to give back.”

The next Miss Leicestershire contest will be staged as a special triple-crown event, incorporating Miss Derbyshire and Miss Northamptonshire qualifiers. The event is scheduled for July at Pumping Station Cropston, with applications now open to young women from all three counties.

Beyond the crown, the event will also carry a strong charitable focus, raising awareness and funds for the Uhumans & Vayyu Foundation in Kenya. The three county winners will go on to represent their regions at the national Miss England finals.

With Richardson now guiding the county platform, the upcoming contest promises a renewed emphasis on leadership, community impact and purpose.
