One year after being crowned Miss World Hungary, Janka Végvári has reflected on the personal growth, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped her journey over the past twelve months.
Looking back on the moment her name was announced as the winner, Janka Végvári described the experience as life-changing. What initially seemed like a title soon became a journey of self-discovery, teaching her valuable lessons about confidence, responsibility, and the importance of representing meaningful values.
Throughout her year as Miss World Hungary, Kürti embraced numerous opportunities to learn and grow. She explained that the experience helped her become a stronger communicator and reinforced her belief that true beauty extends far beyond appearance.
While acknowledging the glamour often associated with the title, she also highlighted the hard work that takes place behind the scenes. Early mornings, extensive travel, preparation, pressure, and moments of self-doubt were all part of the journey. According to Kürti, these challenges ultimately became some of her greatest teachers, making het realize that success is not about perfection but about perseverance.
The Hungarian BWAP ambassador also expressed her amazement at how much her life has changed in a year. From standing on stage as a young contestant to preparing to represent her country at one of the world’s most prestigious international events, she described the experience as both humbling and inspiring.
In August, Janka Végvári will travel to Vietnam to represent Hungary at Miss World’s 75th Anniversary Festival.
“I am excited about meeting inspiring women from around the world, discovering new cultures, and proudly sharing the values of my homeland with them and with people all over the world”, she shared.
Kürti concluded by thanking everyone who has supported her throughout the past year, expressing her gratitude for the encouragement, kindness, and belief she has received along the way.
“One year ago, a dream came true. Today, I stand at the gateway of another dream,” she wrote.
