Monny Mongkoutphet Hanesana will represent Laos at the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Miss World Festival, set to take place in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5, 2026.

Monny Mongkoutphet Hanesana, 24, has been crowned Miss World Laos 2026, confirming her as the country’s representative at the upcoming Miss World Festival in Vietnam.

Her selection was officially announced on October 29, 2025, by the Miss World Laos organization in Vientiane.

Hanesana, also known as Monny Mongkoutphet, is a media personality, producer, and content creator with a background in communication arts. Based in Bangkok, she has established herself as a YouTuber and filmmaker while promoting Lao culture and traditional textiles through her work.

Originally from Saravan Province, she combines strong local roots with international exposure, having traveled extensively across Laos documenting communities and cultural heritage.

Laos made its debut at the Miss World Festival in 2017, with Tonkham Phonchanghueang. Hanesana becomes the country’s fourth representative at Miss World.

In a personal statement, she expressed her intention to use the platform to support her community, focusing on cultural promotion and social impact.
